How does prepaid work?
You buy your month up front, like airtime or electricity. Your line stays active for the month you've paid for. When it runs out you simply top up again — and if you skip a month, your line just pauses until you're ready to come back.
What does it cost to get connected?
A once-off R199 covers your installation and your free-to-use router. After that you only pay for the month you use — nothing more.
How do I pay for Connecta?
We use Netcash, so you can pay the way that suits you — at major retail stores with a Netcash retail (SCode) payment, with a 1Voucher, or by card, EFT or debit order. As soon as your payment reflects, your line is active for the month.
What speed do I actually get?
Connecta runs on the exact same Cosmiq fibre network as our premium home packages — same uncapped, unthrottled service, just on a prepaid plan built for the community. The speed you choose is your download, and each package comes with a set upload speed (15/5, 25/10, 50/25 and 100/50 Mbps).
